SP activists in Agra, Mainpuri remember MSY on birth anniv
AGRA : Samajwadi Party (SP) leaders and party workers paid tribute to party founder the Mulayam Singh Yadav on his birth anniversary at party’s district headquarters of Agra and Mainpuri on Tuesday.
A three-time chief minister of U.P. and also a former defence minister, Mulayam Singh Yadav passed away last month.
The Samajwadi Party workers gathered at party office in Agra and Mainpuri and distributed fruits.
SP’s Agra city unit chief Chaudhary Wajid Nisar and others paid floral tribute to the SP founder at a “Shradhanjali Sabha”. On the occasion, party workers said they will follow the principles of their departed leader. Thereafter fruits were distributed.
In Mainpuri, an event was organised at party office in city where SP district unit chief Alok Shakya paid floral tribute to Mulayam who had studied and later taught at Jain Inter College in Mainpuri and also represented the district in Lok Sabha many times.
