The Opera House branch of popular gym chain Your Fitness Club (YFC) has the unique distinction of being the tallest gymnasium in the city, spread over five floors of a vintage building.

This is nothing short of a dream come true for YFC founder and director Rizwan Sayed, whose career started a decade ago as a personal trainer. Since then, he has come a long way to own a chain comprising 18 gyms across seven cities — Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Bhopal, Indore, Gulbarga and Ratlam.

“I wanted to launch the tallest gym in Mumbai as it is known as a city of high-rises. I’m also planning to launch the biggest gym in Goa, which is currently under construction. With these projects, I see my dreams becoming a reality,” says Sayed.

YFC was chosen as one of the top 100 small and medium enterprises for the years 2013 and 2014 at India SME 100 Awards presented by Bank of India and India SME Forum, supported by the Government of India, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Industry.

Sayed adds, “We are in the final stage of our initial venture with funding from a leading international investment company that believes in our passion and vision. This funding will take us to the number one position in 2015 with a target of 100 gyms spread across 20 cities.”

YFC is a one-stop destination for strength, sports, body training, weight loss and aerobics.
