PK wins big in Tokyo
In 2014, Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma-starrer PK made headlines for becoming Bollywood’s first movie to make more than ` 300 crores. And the film, directed by Rajkumar Hirani (left), is still making news, more than two years since its release: A Japanese film awards event has selected PK as one of the most loved movies of Tokyo, Japan.
A source says, “PK didn’t just make a lot of money in India and overseas, it is also regarded as one of Hirani’s best films till date. Now, it has bagged the first prize at a film awards ceremony in Tokyo. The film was chosen by a group of journalists from various newspapers in Tokyo.” PK was released in Japan last October.
