After her last Tamil release, Aditi Rao Hydari (above) has now moved on to bigger and better things. While there is speculation that she will be teaming up with Mani Ratnam on another Tamil project, HT Café has learnt that Aditi has decided to utilise her free time to improve her acting skills. According the source, the actor will be going to Delhi in the first week of June to enrol in a course on mime — a performance art that involves acting or emoting through body motions and expressions without speaking.

A source says, “Aditi has always been open to learning new things, will now challenge herself by undergoing a ten-day training programme to learn mime. This form of acting involves emoting through your body and its movements. She is keen to learn this technique, as it will help her improve her techniques as a method actor. She has done a lot of research on this and has finally zeroed in on an institute.”

Her spokesperson confirmed the news and said, “Aditi is interested in a lot of things besides acting. She learnt to speak Tamil for her last film, and also knows quite a few other languages. She is a trained classical dancer and also uses it as a form of exercise. This has been something she has wanted to do for a very long time.”

ADITI IS INTERESTED IN A LOT OF THINGS BESIDES ACTING. SHE IS A TRAINED CLASSICAL DANCER AND USES IT AS A FORM OF EXERCISE.
