It’s a special film that celebrates dance and life: Tiger Shroff
After Heropanti (2014) and Baaghi (2016), film-maker Sabbir Khan has teamed up for the third time with
Tiger Shroff (above right) for Munna Michael. According to the film’s makers, India’s first dance-action film showcases never-seen-before dance choreography and stylised action. Starring Tiger Shroff, the movie also has Nawazuddin Siddiqui and debutante Niddhi
Agerwal (above left) in the lead cast.
The movie is based on the story of Munna, a boy from the streets of Teen Batti in Mumbai who loves dancing and has grown up idolising the legendary Michael Jackson. The makers say that the film will push the envelope when it comes to action and dance.
Talking about the film, Tiger Shroff says, “Munna Michael is an attempt to present stunning dance moves along with power-packed action. With the blessings of all our fans and audiences, we’re hoping it reaches great heights. It’s a special film that celebrates dance and life.”
Director Sabbir Khan says, “I had spoken to Tiger a year ago about a story and a character called Munna Michael that I had in mind. That stayed with him. We’re keeping all the quintessential elements of Hindi cinema — heroism, music, dance and action — intact, and are trying to raise the bar at the same time. It’s our third outing together, and we are hoping to score a hat trick.”
Producer Viki Rajani adds, “Munna Michael is tailormade to showcase Tiger Shroff ’s winning moves and no one presents him better than Sabbir Khan. It’s been exciting to work with a hit pair like Sabbir and Tiger.”
