Even though their first feature film, Behen Hogi Teri (BHT) starring Rajkummar Rao and Shruti Haasan didn’t fare well at the box office, the team at Oddball Motion Pictures isn’t treating it like a setback but an opportunity to learn and get a fresh start. Their upcoming portfolio promises to be exciting — starting with the bilingual thriller Haadsa, starring Gulshan Devaiah and Sagarika Ghatge, which also releases as Daav in Marathi. Another quirky romance film with Darsheel Safary and debutante Palak Tewari is also in the pipeline. Emraan Hashmi-starrer Captain Nawab, too, is set to go on floors. A source says, “After BHT, they will be collaborating with Tony D’Souza and Amul Vikas Mohan, once again, alongside Emraan Hashmi Films for this grandiose cross-border spy thriller. In fact, they’re also embarking into the regional film market with talented actors Vikram Ghokle and Suhasini Mulay in a heartfelt story titled Dev Devarath Nahi. Besides that, there are also two projects which will represent India globally. An English language feature film catering to worldwide audiences, titled Bloomage is in the pipeline. Their other international film, A Life Lost And Found continues to travel to several international forums.”

Nitin Upadhyay, founder and producer, Oddball says, “We will forever be grateful to the industry, which has been very kind to a new producer like us.”

He also praises actors, technicians and studios who supported them with their vision especially music greats like Zee Music Company that is distributing the music for their films.
