-

He’s been the mind behind many unique Bollywood films, and now filmmaker Amole Gupte has come up with Sniff !!!, which explores an untouched genre in Indian cinema — that of a child spy superhero’s adventures.

Gupte’s film, that releases today, is about an 8-year-old Sikh boy, essayed by Khushmeet Gill, who by a miracle acquires super power of smell and uses it in his adventures. Speaking about the film, Gupte says, “We want to give parents an insight into their child’s mind. And we also want audiences to enjoy the adventures of the young spy thoroughly, just as much as we did while making this first-of-its-kind film for children.”

The film is produced by Eros International’s Trinity Pictures — India’s first and only character-driven franchise studio. The film has had the support of prolific writers of the studio, who along with Gupte have developed this muchanticipated film. Young fans could gear up to witness the adventures of Sunny and his curious gang of extraordinary friends. Indeed, the story promises to touch the right chords of the young audience, and those who are young at heart.

Speaking about why the studio supported Gupte’s film, Ajit Thakur, CEO, Trinity Pictures says, “The spysuperhero genre for kids has never been tapped before and I hope kids and their parents have a great time watching the film. Sunny Gill will charm you, thrill you and make you laugh and cry.”

Written and directed by Amole Gupte, Sniff !!!, produced by Eros International’s Trinity Pictures, releases today.
