Sleepless nights for Aamir Khan
Aamir Khan is gearing up for the release of his next project Secret Superstar. Apparently, the actor has been having sleepless nights lately as the film’s release is around the corner.
“Aamir mentioned in an interview that Secret Superstar is a bigger film than Dangal (2016) because the film is trying to bring up a larger issue. Dangal spoke aboutt how parents should not differentiate between girls and boys. The film talks to teenagers about their dreams, aspirations and challenges,” says a source.
Even during Dangal the actor was very nervous before the release of the movie, and even now with his next. Both films are about the empowerment of the girl child. While Dangal was about a father not differentiating between a girl and a boy, the new film chronicles around the story of a 14-yearold.
Both try to put a spotlight on the issue of gender equality. But, in this film, the attempt is much larger.
“The actor also revealed that his character, Shakti Kumaarr, is one of the toughest roles he has played as it is nothing close to the characters he has portrayed earlier. The film showcases a special bond between a mother and a daughter. Aamir has loved everyone’s work in the movie and is nervous about the audience’s reaction,” informs a source.
The senior actor has even paused the shooting of Thugs of Hindostan for the release of this movie. He will resume shooting post the release of Secret Superstar. Aamir couldn’t be reached for a comment.
AAMIR MENTIONED IN AN INTERVIEW THAT SECRET SUPERSTAR IS A BIGGER FILM THAN DANGAL BECAUSE THE FILM IS TRYING TO BRING UP A LARGER ISSUE. ALSO, HIS CHARACTER IS ONE OF THE TOUGHEST HE HAS PORTRAYED.
