Christmas is about being generous, bonding with loved ones and spending quality time with them. And many celebrities from the small screen celebrate the festival with gusto.

MANASI SALVI AL

My daughte and I have been putting up a Christm tree at home since the pas eight years. W enjoy decorating ou beautiful eigh foot Christmas tree, and I leav presents for he under it. Since I am from a convent school, was taught the a of sharing and giving. We would give basic necessities including vegetables, sanitary pads towels and soaps to the underprivileged children.

ROCHELLE RAO

This Christmas, I am off to Delhi to enjoy some family time, food and Christmas fun with Keith’s (Sequeira) family. My most memorable Christmas was the year my nephew (Brandon) turned one. I was eleven at the time and had decorated the Christmas tree. I was also supposed keep Brandon away from the food and décor as he was attempting to eat decorations and sweets, and was quite a force to reckon with. It was a mad, fun time and probably the last time my entire family celebrated Christmas together as my brother moved to the US right after.

KEITH SEQUIERA

My most memorable Christmas was when my mother was pregnant with my younger brother. I remember being so excited about that, and it was a special Christmas for us. This year, I will be going to Delhi to spend time with my family and close ones for Christmas, since the festival is all about family time.

VIVIAN DSENA

Christmas gives lot of positive vibes and paves way for a happy new year. In Mumbai, especially in Bandra, the festive fervour is clearly visible. The vibes and festive spirit lifts up my mood. I like to drive down to the Mount Mary church on Christmas eve. I remember I used to go to church every year with family in Ujjain (Madhya Pardesh), my home town. This year too, I will go to church, and even eat plum cake that I love.

KRYSTLE DSOUZA

Every Christmas, my family and I decorate the entire house and put up the tree , place our gifts under the tree and open only on the 25th morning. On Christmas eve, we attend the midnight mass. And on 25th, it’s usually just an intimate family get-together for lunch and dinner with friends and family. My cherished memory is of my dad dressing up like Santa to give us kids gifts. None of us would recognise it’s my dad and it used to be a lot of fun.

NAKUUL MEHTA

Christmas to me is all about sharing, spending time with family and friends, and extending a helping hand to those who need it. I will be hosting an intimate dinner for friends on Christmas eve, which we look forward to every year. It’s our third year that we have a seven-foot Christmas tree in our living room. It’s a lot of fun putting up the tree every year. I would like to attend a Christmas mass this year, which I haven’t done yet. My most memorable Christmas was when I really believed in Santa and I met him in middle school and received a massive hug. It was surreal.

SAUMYA TANDON

Christmas for me is happy times. My niece and nephew send letters to Santa about what they want, what they feel good and bad about. I love fulfilling secret wishes, if I can, for which I prepare weeks in advance. I try and go to an orphanage for Christmas and spend an evening with kids and dance with them in their party. I love making banoffee pie and a get an excuse of eating sweets all day.
