It was Christmas Eve but the team of Salman Khan’s next film clearly had multiple reasons for celebrations on December 24. Probably that’s why the entire cast and crew of Race 3 had an impromptu celebration of sorts on the sets.

Since the makers wanted to wrap a pivotal part of the film in time, the team had a working Christmas. So, all the actors including Salman had cancelled their plans for the festival, and had made shooting the film their priority.

“The team has already completed one schedule and will be starting the second schedule of the shoot soon. Once the last shot of the day was done with, the cast and crew got into celebratory mode,” says a source.

In fact, the entire team had various reasons to celebrate. Apart from Christmas, it was Anil Kapoor’s birthday too. Also, the team was excited to celebrate the success of Salman’s latest blockbuster.

“Remo D’Souza (director) had arranged a lavish spread of home-cooked Christmas delicacies for the entire team. In fact, Jacqueline, who wasn’t shooting that day, joined the team as well,” adds the source.

After the shoot, the team was celebrating till the wee hours of the night. When contacted, Anil told HT Café: “Yes, I had a working birthday, and so I celebrated it on the set with the cast and crew.”

Salman, on the other hand, has been occupied with the promotions of his recently released film as well as the shoot of his reality TV show.

REMO D’SOUZA HAD ARRANGED A LAVISH SPREAD OF HOMECOOKED CHRISTMAS DELICACIES FOR THE ENTIRE TEAM. IN FACT, JACQUELINE, WHO WASN’T SHOOTING THAT DAY, JOINED THE TEAM AS WELL.
