Tiger ranks in top 5 as most loved star

As per the latest report of a recent survey from a specialised media consulting firm, Tiger Shroff bags the fifth position after Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan in the India’s ‘most loved star’ list. Apparently, this survey is based on the boxoffice standing of Hindi film actors in recent times. Tiger happens to be the youngest actor on the list with a strong hold at the box office after the success of Baaghi 2.

“Tiger has emerged to be the youngest star to have witnessed huge box-office hits, as he has shattered records despite being only five films old in the industry. The actor has a strong fan base spread across different age segments, but he is a favourite with the younger generation of audiences in India,” says an insider. On the work front, Tiger Shroff has projects including Student of the Year 2 (SOTY 2), an untitled project alongside Hrithik Roshan as well as Sajid Nadiadwala’s Baaghi 3.

About getting featured on the list, Tiger shares, “When my team brought this to my notice, I was taken by surprise at first. Being in the top five of this list, that too with people I have grown up watching and who have been huge icons for decades, was nothing less than surreal. But I have to say that I owe all of this and more to my film-makers and fans, who have loved and supported me right from the beginning. It only encourages me to keep improving myself.”
