While most actors ensure that they get noticed regularly via their social media posts or appearances at events, Adaa Khan says she isn’t interested in being that person. “I am a private person and prefer to stay that way. I make appearances at events or parties, where it is absolutely necessary for me or only on the insistence of some of my close friends. I maintain a low profile, no matter how successful my shows are,” says the Nagin actor.

She admits she joined the social media due to peer pressure. “I am on social media for my fans as I want to keep them updated about my life. Fans are always curious about their favourite stars and I want to be in touch with them. Social media makes it easy to be in touch with people worldwide. Often, they ask me to post photos and tell them about my day. It is sweet but if it were upto me, I wouldn’t be on social media at all. I am a bit shy. I like being this way and I don’t feel the need to change. People have accepted me this way ” she says.
