HARSHVARDHAN BAGS THREE FILMS

Kapoor will start working on three different genres, soon after he finishes the Abhinav Bindra biopic

Harshvardhan Kapoor is currently prepping for his next, the Abhinav Bindra biopic. The film is slated to release next year, and now the buzz is that the actor will be signing three more projects soon — a thriller, romance and drama, apparently. “I can’t talk about them in detail yet, but yes, there are four films in the pipeline including the Bindra biopic,” says Harshvardhan.

Ask him if signing a biopic is a risky move right in the beginning of his career, and the Bhavesh Joshi Superhero actor says, “It is. God forbid, if it doesn’t turn out as intended, it won’t be great. But again, that’s with any film. The idea here is that Abhinav should be happy, and of course, the audience, too. He should like my representation of who he is and the final product. If that happens, we will be happy. Besides that, we can’t really control anything else. So far, I’ve met the people who are going to be coaching me. They are the same people who have coached Abhinav. Also, Abhinav will be coaching me himself, after I reach a certain level. It will be really interesting. It’s going to be a long journey, because there needs to be historical accuracy. I’m learning the sport and I am going to be playing him over different phases. It’s a whole new world for me. I really plan to submit to the film and I’m pretty excited about it.”

God forbid, if the biopic doesn’t turn out as intended, it won’t be great. The idea here is that Abhinav should be happy.
