Kartik Aaryan, looks droolworthy in his new ethnic Indian avatar in Manyavar.
The national heart-throb, who has wowed the audience with his spectacular performances and iconic monologues, recently took to Instagram to announce his association with one of India’s biggest Indianwear brands – Manyavar.
The actor made the announcement in his own, unconventional way, as he changed his Instagram name from Kartik Aaryan to Manyavar Kartik Aaryan.
This was accompanied by an announcement post where we see him in a dapper avatar, donning a green sherwani. The announcement was preceded by a string of short videos where Kartik teased his fans about something new coming up. Followers saw him take off casual westernwear in a teaser video and then don a kurta in another. These teasers made hearts flutter and fans curious with every passing day.
The final reveal about him being a Manyavar ambassador happened recently with a final announcement post.
Interestingly, Manyavar also launched a short film featuring Kartik in the most fun avatar ever. Called GroomSquad, the film revolves around their concept of coordinated wedding dressing where the groom’s close friends are dressed in the same or similar attire.
Weddings are full of picture-perfect moments, and even more so if it’s a close friend’s wedding. The idea of the groom’s pals coordinating their outfits is interesting
because it helps people know who all are really close to the groom. And it, of course, also makes for some fun memories and selfie-worthy frames!
Talking about the film, Kartik says, “The whole idea of GroomSquad is so relatable and exciting. Having portrayed the quintessential groomsman in many movies, the role came naturally to me. The film has the right dose of fun, friendship and playfulness. I think the concept of enjoying your closest friend’s wedding with your whole GroomSquad in coordinated outfits is just amazing. It shows the world who your closest friends are. I am definitely looking forward to pull this off at my next friend’s wedding.”
And why not — Kartik already has the perfect personality to pull it off on screen. His well-established groomsman image and his playful persona came in handy when he tried to give the bridesmaids, a run for their money!
