Promotion on Wheels for Housefull 4
The entire cast of Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull 4 went aboard a special train which is a new addition to Indian Railways’ existing train lines called Promotion on Wheels. The new trains were flagged by the Indian Railways on October 16. The first trip taken was by the cast of Housefull 4 for the promotions of the film for which they travelled on its Mumbai to Delhi route. Actors Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, Kriti Kharbanda and Chunky Panday along with producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s wife Warda and their sons, Subhan and Sufyan, with the media were all a part of this ‘Housefull’ ride. Right from the time, the cast reached Mumbai’s Borivali station to the time they boarded the special ‘Housefull 4’ branded train, fan frenzy was at its peak.
The digital universe was abuzz with fans going gaga to catch one glimpse of their favourite stars while the train went from Mumbai to Delhi with #HousefullExpress trending on social media.
The journey was made entertaining by playing games like housie and antakshari with the media and actors.
From gadgets to hampers as prizes, everything was fun and filled with laughter in the ride. The cast also made sure that everyone grooved to the tunes of the song ‘Bala’ from the movie. As everyone gushed over the entire journey, this truly would go down in the pages of history as Housefull 4 became the first film ever to inaugurate Promotions on Wheels.
Filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala says, “The entire cast was extremely excited and had great fun while they travelled together. This initiative by Indian Railways will definitely be helpful for our art and culture to travel on track to various parts of the country. Housefull 4 produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and co-produced by Fox Star Studios is slated to release on October 25 and has become the first film to be promoted on the wheels.
