Which is the one breakfast food that you must have?

Honestly, for the past several weeks, I have been following the intermitte­nt fasting. So, my first heavy meal is at 4pm. Earlier, my breakfast would include an omelette, juice or cold coffee.

One fattening food item that you just can’t resist?

Sweets, I have a major sweet tooth. My biggest challenge has been to curtail my sweet cravings. From Indian sweets to chocolates, I find it difficult to resist them.

How do you get back in shape post a fattening indulgence?

I reduce my carb and sugar intake. I also take up some high intensity training and create a calorie deficit.

Do you prefer mini meals? What do they normally contain?

I have tried the diet which includes mini meals. However, I have realised that intermitte­nt fasting works for me.

Do you work out at home? What are the exercises you follow?

Yes, I do work out at home too. It all depends on the availabili­ty of a gym. Like, there was a time when there were no gym available at the location I was shooting at. So, I had a programme that required a 5x5 space and functional workout.

Do you prefer outdoor or indoor physical activity?

I prefer outdoors. However, sometimes, it does get difficult to achieve it. I prefer running in my building ground though, as the traffic and pollution gets to you. Running helps me to burn those calories.

What are some of your favourite physical activities?

I am a big fan of running. It helps me think better, clears my head and at the same time, benefits my physical state.

A health tip that you rely on.

Live a wholesome life. I believe what you resist, will persist. Of course, some moderation is required, especially since by nature, I am an extremist.
