Travelling has helped me open up as a person, says Adaa Khan
Often actors go on holidays once their acting projects come to an end and so does Adaa Khan. The actor, who was last seen in Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara, took her love for travelling to another level by doing a solo trip. She visited Netherlands, Spain, France, Bulgaria, Italy, Malaysia, and Switzerland in the last four months and wants to take off again.
Adaa says, “I love travelling alone. I would recommend it as everyone should try once at least in their lives to experience the difference. People ask me if I get bored being alone and how do I manage to travel safely but, trust me, it’s so much fun to travel alone. Just being with yourself and exploring things on your own is wonderful. My experiences have been beautiful and I also made so many new friends. Travelling has changed me and it has helped me open up as a person. Today, I don’t hesitate to start a conversation with strangers. Of course, when you have friends and family travelling with you, it is a different kind of fun with them, too.”
The Naagin actor also relishes the ‘me time’ she gets on her solo vacations. “I am not dependent on anyone for the plan of the day. I relish the freedom to do whatever I please. Spending quality time with yourself is as important as having company. I always say, you only live once, travel as much as you can and never think that you can travel later in life, because we don’t know what’s going to happen later in our lives,” she opines.
