My wife is my strength : Arjun
Actor Arjun Bijlani has been married to wife Neha Swami for over six years now. However, the two don’t shy away from displaying their affection for each other. Arjun says he is grateful that his wife has balanced their lives beautifully.
“My wife is a homemaker and the most important thing she does is balancing and taking care of our family. We have a son, who she takes care of, as well as, the entire house. I take care of the other things. So, there is a great balance, and we have equal roles. It’s not that my work is more important than hers. In fact, I feel hers is probably more important than mine. She completes me in every way,” says the actor.
He adds that the two have seen their share of ups and downs but nothing to the extent of leaving each other. On asking him how he loves to spend time with Neha and what he loves about her, and the actor says, “We go on holidays, two or three times a year. Her simplicity and honesty is what I love about her. She has more patience than me.” However, like all couples, they fight too. “Sometimes we fight about things which are not even relevant in life and later we laugh about it. She always takes care of everything in the house. For me, marriage is for keeps. My wife is my strength,” says Arjun.
Doling out advice on marriage, the actor adds, “It’s important not to give up. Two tips to keep a marriage alive is that there’s always an option. People these days give up and file for divorce but I feel that marriage is an institution that needs to be worked on. Nothing is going to be easy, there can be a lot of stress. There are a lot of problems but they can be worked out,” he says.
