Starting a business in today’s day and age is no easy feat, especially with everything under the sun easily accessible at your disposal. With the social media boom, thousands of entreprene­urs have taken to platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and more, to showcase their unique products and makes. While some don’t quite make t others are ecstatic h the esponse. Times are changing and raditional avenues such as shops and boutiques have aken a back eat to websites, pop-up shops and insta-stores. One emerging platform, which as captivated entreprene­urs who’ve whipped up almost everything from soaps to baked goods, is Instagram. The primarily image-driven platform has become a hub for networking for everyone — from emerging bloggers to young artists. Roshni Mehta, cofounder Hibiscus Monkey, says, “The platform has opened the world of two-way conversati­ons, something that never existed in the world of television. It’s the most wonderful way of exchanging thoughts and ideas that go beyond the products of the brand. This wouldn’t be possible without a platform like Instagram!”
