Elli looks forward to a cosy Christmas
Elli AvrRam, who was recently seen in a couple of web shows, is working round the clock and has no time to fly to her home town, Stockholm, Sweden, this Christmas. But the festival this year is going to be special for the actor as she will be spending it with a new member in her family. “Some work came up at the last minute and so I will be at my home in
Mumbai. I will be celebrating my first Christmas with my baby boy Charles, my cat. I adopted him earlier this year,” she says with a smile. Sharing a Christmas memory, she says, “When I was six years old, we were driving to the city where my grandparents used to live. It was a five-hour drive from my home town. That Christmas, I was so overwhelmed because I got many gifts!” Shedding light on another instance, the The Verdict State vs Nanavati actor says, “Another thing I remember is that I used to be very impatient and naughty the night before Christmas. Our gifts used to be kept under the Christmas tree, and I would wake up late in the night and open the gifts up to see what I was getting the next day. And the funniest part is that I used to get caught every time (laughs)!”
So, what is that one thing about the festival that makes her look forward to it the most? “I love the Christmas music and the Christmas cuisines. But my craving for food has taken a backseat now that I have turned a vegetarian. I love the overall vibe that Christmas has. Celebrating the festival in the cosiness of your house is one of the best feelings,” she concludes.
