- Titas Chowdhury ht.cafe@htlive.com

Radhika Madan recently wrapped the shoot of her upcoming film, Shiddat, in London, UK. The actor was in london earlier this year as well, for another project, Angrezi Medium, co-starring Irrfan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. And she’s overjoyed to have spent a major chunk of the year in the UK capital. “I had completely different experiences. I was shooting for Angrezi Medium in the summers and London is gorgeous during that time. And when I was shooting in the city for Shiddat, it was freezing cold. And I loved it. I got to see two different sides of London, a city that I love,” says an excited Radhika. The Pataakha (2018) actor, a self-confessed foodie, says that one of the best things about the city is its food. “I’m a vegan and by now, I’ve explored all the vegan cafés in London. They have an amazing variety of ice creams and desserts. I’m a foodie and I can literally hog on anything. I loved their healthy and delicious burgers and the cauliflower-base pizzas,” she shares.

So, what did she do on a day when she didn’t have to shoot? “After waking up, I would get out of the hotel, grab a cup of coffee, take a book and sit in a park or at some nice restaurant. I’m not a shopaholic, so I didn’t shop a lot. But I visited a lot of places. I went to old libraries and attended some art exhibitions,” says Radhika. She adds,

“I love to walk whenever I’m exploring a city. Since Christmas was approaching, the whole city and its cafés were lit up very well. I also attended the Christmas carnival, which was beautiful.”
