Which books are currently on your reading list?

Currently, I am reading The Brahmin by Ravi Shankar Etteth. It’s based on Emperor Ashoka’s rule which fascinates me a lot and the book is fabulous. The other book on my list is Red At The Bone by Jacqueline Woodson.

Which is the best book you’ve read so far?

Ikigai- The Japanese Secret To a Long Happy Life is the best book that I’ve read so far. It changed my perspectiv­e towards life and made me smile more.

Which genres do you enjoy reading? Which do you avoid?

I enjoy reading periodical­s, romantic, self-help, comedy and drama. I avoid reading fantasy and sci-fi.

Which book do you think everyone should read at least once?

Pride And Prejudice by Jane Austen is a book that everyone must read at least once.

What do you like to read when you travel?

When I travel to a destinatio­n abroad, I prefer reading stories that are based in that region or a book about the tourism of the city because it gives me a nice insight which I really enjoy.

Which is your favourite fairy tale or folk story?

Cinderella is my favourite fairytale, I adored the pure innocence and inner strength of the character. I have read the book about 15 to 20 times. Everything about this fairytale is mesmerisin­g and its crafted really well.

Which childhood stories have stayed with you?

I read very few books as a child and preferred mostly fairytales as I was a kid. It’s only recently that I started reading much more and experiment­ing with different genres. A few childhood stories have stayed with me.

If you had to name one book that made you who you are today, which would it be?

It’ll definitely be IkigaiThe Japanese Secret To Happy Life. It helped me improve my health and also to have a positive attitude towards life.

Which author would you choose to write your life story?

It’s too soon to think about that.
