Tanuj visits Poland to meet mom Rati Agnihotri
After shooting for multiple digital show 2019, actor Tanuj Virwani took a long break goona vacation. “I had worked o six projects last year, and I really needed this break,” says Tanuj. The actor was last seen in a revenge drama — Poison, the second season of Inside Edge, and is now awaiting his next show, costarring Jennifer Winget.
Tanuj chose to go to Poland not just for a holiday but also to spend time with his mum, senior actor, Rati Agnihotri. He says, “I was there for 10 days because I have a special connect with the place. My maternal aunt lives there, and now my mother spends a lot of time in Poland as she has set up a chain of authentic world-class restaurants serving Chinese, Indian, Thai and Japanese cuisines. Cooking has always been one of her passions, and I am so glad she is doing this.”
On the work front, Tanuj is excited about his upcoming show, where he plays a lawyer who is working on a sensitive and murky case. “The script was solid, the director — brilliant and the cast, impeccable. As an actor, I want to be surrounded by those who are better than me as it helps me raise my game. Working with the likes of Jennifer Winget, Rajat Kapoor, Seema Biswas, Mahesh Balraj was exciting. The director is very intuitive and is an actor’s director. He was open to improvisations which helped the scenes. Working with Jennifer was an absolute pleasure,” he concludes.
