Ola ropes in Wayne Burgess as new design head

Ola Electric has announced that Wayne Burgess will lead its design team in coming days. In the role, Burgess will be responsible for Ola’s entire product range including scooters, bikes, cars and more. Wayne has been part of several big ticket carmakers, such as Rolls-Royce,

Bentley and Jaguar Land Rover, before taking this new role.

French carmaker Renault has increased the price of its subcompact SUV Kiger that was launched in February this year. The SUV has seen a hike of up to ₹33,000 within three months of its launch. Though Renault has not officially given any reason behind the hike, it is likely that the global chip crisis could be one of the reasons behind the carmaker’s decision.
