Sarika Sanjot marks her directorial debut with Kahani Rubberband Ki
Sarika Sanjot is off to a flying start in her filmi career as the filmmaker made her directorial foray in tinsel town with a social comedy, Kahani Rubberband Ki. This film will also mark the debut of actors Avika Gor and Manish Raisinghan, and features Scam 1992 actor Pratik Gandhi, in lead roles.
Sanjot, who’s the producer and director of the film, has had a humble beginning in the Indian film industry as an assistant to the writer of epic action drama RRR,
V Vijayendra Prasad. Before embarking on this career, she finished her graduation from New York Film Academy, USA. After completing her education, she wanted to make her mark in the industry with a film that not only entertains, but can also bring about a change in society.
The entire shooting for Kahani Rubberband Ki was done in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. It also features actors Aruna Irani, Gaurav Gera, Kanwarjit Paintal, Hemang Dave, Amit Singh Thakur, Meenakshi Sethi, Shyam Lal and Katyayani Sharma. Actor Romil Chaudhary also has a cameo in the film.
Produced under the banner of Moon House Productions, the film is currently playing in cinemas. Meet Bros have composed the music of the film, which is released by Zee Music Company.
