‘My kids now know my celeb status’

Actor Madhuri Dixit is happy that her kids are getting to know about her star status since she has moved back to India

Actor Madhuri Dixit (left) has ruled the Hindi film industry for more than 25 years. The 45year-old, who was last seen on the silver screen in Aaja Nachle (2007), is all excited about returning to the scene with two big films soon. Read on as the mother of two, who returned back to the country last year after her long stay in the US post marriage, talks about things close to her heart — both professionally and personally.

On her kids

My sons are now realising about about my celeb status since they have shifted back from the US.

On numbers

Being number one or number two never bothered me. I thoroughly focused on my work and enjoyed it to the fullest

On films

I will be seen in two films next — Dedh Ishqiya and Gulaab Gang. Both are very mature roles.

On Delhi

I love visiting Delhi, especially in the winters. But unfortunately, I don’t come to this city very often.

On the three Khans

Aamir is very down-to-earth and sweet. SRK is the mischievous one. Salman has a child-like quality about him.
