Vidya’s impressed with Dibakar’s film

Actor Vidya Balan (left) is impressed with filmmaker Dibakar Bannerjee’s (right) recently released period film, which also features actor Sushant Singh Rajput. So much so, that she has expressed the desire to be in the sequel of the film. “Vidya recently saw Dibakar Bannerjee’s film and she really liked the way the film has turned out. As soon as she finished watching the film, she called up Dibakar to congratulate him. She told him that she was very keen to be featured in the sequel,” says a source.

Vidya, who shot many parts of her film Kahaani (2012) in Kolkata, loved how the city was shown in Dibakar’s film. “She was impressed with the way Dibakar has created the era without losing any element of the city. This is tricky in a period drama,” adds the source.
