In a never-seen-before amalgamation of celebrity chefs, socialites and expats, a delectable soiree was hosted by Savitri Singh and Avni Biyani at Foodhall @ DLF Place in the Capital.
Professing their love of food, and celebrating the many nuances of fine food, and showing how to #PartyInStyle, the do saw live cook-up sessions by celebrity chefs Vicky Ratnani, Aditya Bal and Pooja Dhingra, along with a photo exhibition that showcased the story behind the creations of these masterchefs. The Party Chef Menu, designed by Foodhall that brings an array of gourmet food options, personalised chef and interactive food station service at your door step, was also launched at this event. With this, Foodhall becomes the first retail superstore to offer gourmet catering services in India.
The celebrity chefs created some lip-smacking delicacies inspired by the Party Chef Menu. The event kick-started with Vicky Ratnani whipping some scrumptious appetisers like quinoa lentil chaat and coconut water poached jumbo prawn spoonies, that wooed everyone’s taste buds. Followed by a tasting session, it was time for Aditya Bal’s mouth-watering pan roasted salmon fillet. Exotic blend of Foodhall ingredients like sweet corn, piquillo peppers, avocado, tomatillo salsa and sour crème dressing, Aditya Bal’s recipe turned out to be a hit among food connoisseurs. The party concluded on a sweet note with Pooja Dhingra disclosing her secrets behind the succulent red velvet cupcakes and nutella squares. The #PartyInStyle event also saw some popular industry peers in attendance. And all this while the crowd engaged in conversations on the photo exhibits, that showcased some really fascinating works of these chefs.
The exhibit will continue to be at display in the mall atrium of DLF Place, Saket.
