Dynamic duo set to recreate magic
As audiences eagerly await the release of Tanu Weds Manu Returns, the industry is already abuzz with anticipation, wondering if the Aanand L Rai and Kangana Ranaut jodi will deliver another blockbuster.
For those who haven’t watched Tanu Weds Manu (2011), the sequel by Eros InternationalI & Colour Yellow Productions that releases on May 22, 2015, promises to be just as enjoyable. Many are comparing the duo’s chemistry to other director-artist pairs who have delivered hits at the box-office. “I don’t know where the comparisons have stemmed from, but they are truly flattering,” says director Aanand L Rai, adding, “Kangana as an artist goes all out to transform herself into the director’s vision. I don’t see any other actor who is able to pull off her roles with such ease. Our love for food and movies has also always worked in our favour.”
