Gaurav happy with three ongoing shows

TV actor Gaurav Sharma (right), who is currently juggling three ongoing shows, is having no trouble balancing his projects. The actor, who has been a part of two shows for the past two years, did not hesitate in taking on a third one recently. “Until this time, I had only done two shows at a time, but then I thought why leave a chance to score a hat-trick. Fortunately, all producers, schedulers and production houses are very cooperative, and thus time management has never been an issue,” says Gaurav.

Actor Deepti Naval (above) feels that the time has now come when Kashmiri writers should be encouraged to write scripts for Bollywood movies depicting Kashmir.

“I intend to come back here (Kashmir) next month to have a brainstorming session with the students in Kashmir University to hone their writing skills with regard to film script writing. Let us see how much success we get,” says Deepti, who has a family connection with Jammu and Kashmir.

“My father was from Punjab, but my mother had a Dogra origin. Her family belonged to Jammu. That lineage always kept pulling me to Kashmir,” says the crtically-acclaimed actor.

The actor is playing varied characters in all his shows, and this was a reason for him to take them up simultaneously. “It is hectic but I am enjoying it to the core. I don’t regret my decision as all three shows are good, and I’m playing different characters in all of them,” adds Gaurav, who’s been seen in shows such as Byaah Hamari Bahoo Ka, Phulwa and Kairi.
