Actor Huma Qureshi (right), who is originally from Delhi, says that she matured as a person once she moved to Mumbai in 2008. The 29-year-old says that she led a very guarded life when she was in Delhi and is grateful for the experiences that she has had once she moved out.

“Moving out of home really helped me grow. Before I moved to Mumbai, my life was only within five kilometer radius. I used to stay close to my college and was chaperoned everywhere I went,” she says, adding, “Mumbai is cosmopolitan. It helped me make such good friends. I met people from all over the country.”

Meanwhile, the actor, who will be seen onscreen alongside her brother Saqib Saleem, jokes that she will not be spending any time with him off screen. “We have decided that when we are not shooting, we will behave like we don’t know each other. Normally you want to hang out with your co-stars and get to know them better, but we know each other enough. I don’t want to hang out with him at all,” she says.

Huma, who stays with her Saqib in Mumbai, says that they always end up going out together. We share an apartment and I think we spend enough time. But there are days when we are busy and miss each other. We have the same bunch of friends so invariably, we end up being together,” she says.

She is sure that shooting with her brother will be fun. “There will be some madness I am sure. We pull each other’s leg even on the set. It will be a riot,” she says.
