‘I have never done a show that runs for more than a year’
Television actors are known for their long association with shows which go on for years together, however actor
Sudhanshu Pandey (above) says that he has always stayed clear of these shows. “I have never done anything which has run for an entire year. You get exhausted playing the same character and then after a while, you are just playing along just because the show is on. I have always picked up finite shows for this reason,” he says.
The actor, who will be playing a cameo in an ongoing period drama, says that he never gets nervous while taking on a new show. “Fortunately, I have never been one of those who get nervous. I am confident about the work that I do and I also have faith in God, that it will work. Also, the effort that I put is 100%,” says Sudhanshu.
Talking about period dramas, the actor says that they are always tougher than a usual show. “Period dramas are always challenging due to the costumes and the jewellery, which we have to wear for the scenes. It is physically taxing to carry these on your body through out the shoot. Plus with all this, you need to perform well too,” he says.
Sudhanshu says that he comes up with new ways to play every character. “The interpretation of every character is different. You need to give a new performance using the same emotions,” he says.
