The Fever Tree of Wishes made this Christmas in the Capital all about giving, making dreams come true and entertainment
Over 2.5 lakh people who visited DLF Place in Saket to celebrate the Christmas festivities stood witness to the grandest X-Mas celebration in town. A yearly initiative by Fever Entertainment, the event saw the Fever Tree of Wishes standing tall during the three day celebration which saw Santa, fairies and elves mingle with the crowd and also was host to various activities. Inaugurated by Expedition for Cause, an NGO for children, the event saw various sessions of magic shows, puppet shows and storytelling. And, that’s not all, as bands such as Doorbeen, Aawaaz, Dastak, Suryaveer and Earth Fola entertained the crowd with their soulful performances. Making kids the focus of the celebrations, the NGO felicitated underprivileged kids with study material and stationery. At the event, other children were also given special gifts. What made the event even better was that it was hosted by the RJs of Fever 104 FM — Khurafati Nitin, RJ Addy and RJ Rahul Makin.
Even the crowd couldn’t help but appreciate the event’s unique structure, “This tree is probably the most beautiful one I’ve seen this season, specially when it’s lit. Me and my kids really enjoyed the fun sessions and even tried to do the helium balloon voice, which left us in splits. Kudos to Fever Entertainment for such a noble initiative, which not only taught us to give, but also bring the community together,” said Mahima Kapoor, a visitor. Tuhin Maheshwari, another visitor who has been coming to the celebration every year, said, “This is not my first time here, and it definitely won’t be my last. I love such festive gatherings and this one rocks them all.”
