Safe water gets a digital boost
Clean drinking water is a basic necessity for everyone, but with increasing pollution, there is a dire shortage of it. So how does one find a glass of clean drinking water? Kent RO Systems has come up with a leading technology in the field of water purifiers.
Actor, member of Parliament and brand ambassador Hema Malini recently launched the world’s first smart RO (Reverse Osmosis) water purifier designed and developed by Kent RO systems. She also inaugurated a sprawling 2 lakh sqft corporate campus and an R&D facility established by the company in Noida.
The Smart RO water purifier, named Kent Superb is touted to be the first of its kind, and is crafted from an amalgamation of digital technology and KENT’s patented mineral RO technology. At the same event, another product designed by the company was launched — a gravity purifier which does not need power and removes poisonous arsenic from the water to make it safe.
Speaking at the launch, Dr Mahesh Gupta, chairman, Kent RO Systems, said, “Kent RO is all set to herald a new digital era in water purifiers, and the beginning has been done with the launch of Kent Superb. Being first of its kind, this purifier is Touch Operated with an inbuilt micro-controller which senses water quality on real time basis and displays it on the digital screen. It also senses and displays the total dissolved salts (TDS) in the purified water as well as the filter life. It automatically warns the users when the filter life is less than 60 hours.”
Spiritual Guru, Sri Sri Ravishankar Ji also joined the ceremony through video conferencing. He said that safe water is the first requirement of all humans and every drop of water is precious.
