It’s that time of the year when you can whip your costumes out and be the superhero you’ve always wanted to be. The Delhi Comic Con is back with its 6th edition and it comes with a promise of being the biggest pop culture celebration the city has seen.

“Everything except the venue is new this year at the comic con. The convention is like a second home for the city’s comic nerds and we always try to up our game with the feedback that fans give us. Last year, the footfall was nearly 30,000, we are expecting a lot more this year,” says Jatin Varma, founder, Comic Con India.

Cosplay, exhibitors and panel discussions will be a yearly feature, this year. However, the highlights will include experiential and gaming zones and special guests, such as Paul Blackthorne (who plays Quentin Lance on the hit DC series Arrow), American cartoonist Erik Larsen, co-founder of Image Comics (known for his work on Spider-Man for Marvel Comics), and caricaturist Tom Richmond, who has been a cartoonist and humorous illustrator for MAD Magazine, Cartoon Network and National Geographic.

For e-sport fans, the convention will also be hosting the finals of the ESL India premiership.

There are prizes and a chance to enter the Indian Championship of Cosplay, and a whole bunch of comic book launches that you just can’t miss.
