Vivian Dsena doesn’t get a ‘kick’ by reading stories about him
Actor Vivian Dsena (right) shot to instant stardom when he portrayed the role of Abhay (a vampire) in the show Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, a rip-off of popular Hollywood film series, the Twilight saga. The actor then went on to do successful shows such as Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, followed by a great stint on reality shows including Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8 and Khatron Ke Khiladi. Though fans love to watch him on TV, Vivian says he’s more of a private person and doesn’t enjoy going out much.
“I’m a family guy. The time that I spend with my mother is the most precious time for me. I feel whatever publicity I’m getting is enough. I don’t think I should go out of the way to interact with the media. I don’t get a kick by reading too many stories about me. I prefer to be visible for my work because I feel, if you are good at your job, audience will respect you,” says the actor, who avoids the media glare and believes that being too available may end up circulating incorrect information.
Besides acting, Vivian also believes in doing social work but he doesn’t wish to make any noise about it. “It’s my job to stand by those who need help. As a responsible citizen, it’s one of my priorities. But I don’t show off. I do it silently.”
