Belgian royals meet Dilliwallahs
The air in the Capital on Wednesday night was full of two things — smog and excitement. The latter was courtesy the visit of King Philippe and
Queen Mathilde of Belgium. The reception was hosted by the Belgian Ambassador to India, Jan Luykx and his wife Raka Singh, at their residence. Highlights of the evening were performances by Bollylicious — a Belgian dance collective that moves to Bollywood music. “The group aims at presenting the richness of Indian dance by performing classical, folk and other genres,” said Luykx. Another highlight was the specially curated menu by Belgian chefs that included signature beetroot salad and of course, Belgian beers.
