With the success of her films Baby (2015), Pink (2016) and Naam Shabana , actor Taapsee Pannu has developed a strong connect with the audience. Her female fans, in particular, look up to her as their role model.
Taapsee is currently shooting for her next in Shahbad, Punjab. During a shot, Taapsee came to know that a group of teens were coming to meet her from a few days, and they eagerly waited for her to find time for them. The actor finally met them, and they surprised her with decorative letters and cards expressing their thoughts. The fans also told the actor how her films have influenced them.
Talking about her experience Taapsee says, “They have been waiting outside the van for days, because the set security didn’t let them in. I was just hoping that they haven’t bunked their schools for this. They probably didn’t expect a film to be shot in their vicinity, so they looked very thrilled about it. I feel the most precious thing a person can gift someone is time and these kids have spent a lot of time in making these cards and reaching out to me which is a gesture I will remember always.” The actor is busy with a biopic on ace hockey player Sandeep Singh. Actors Diljit Dosanjh and Angad Bedi are also part of this project that went on floors on November 13. Taapsee, Diljit and Angad play hockey players in the film, while Diljit plays Sandeep’s role, Angad will be seen as Bikramjeet Singh.
