I am not restricted to just dance and action, says Tiger Shroff
Actor Tiger Shroff won accolades for the unique brand of action and interesting dance moves reminiscent of the Michael Jackson that he brought to Bollywood, with his debut in Heropanti (2014). However, actor Tiger Shroff says he would love to play diverse characters.
“I’ve been fortunate enough to be recognised for the effort, but I’m certainly not restricted to just that (action and dance). I’m really open to any character where I know I could do justice to the role offered,” Tiger says.
The 27-year-old says that though a film like Munna Michael had its own set of challenges in terms of intense action and dance sequences, he felt “quite at home” while shooting for the film. “Having done two films with Sabbir (Khan) before, Munna Michael was a smooth journey in terms of my understanding with him,” he adds.
“Kids today are so talented and I believe that through this film, we have attempted to inspire them to follow their passion to the fullest. The film is a mix of comic elements, actionpacked sequences, powerful dialogues and dance,” Tiger says.
The actor, who has so far played happy-go-lucky characters, has surprised fans with a raw, new look for Baaghi 2 on social media. “I’m glad people have loved the transformation and appreciated it. It’s a really humbling experience knowing that I have their support,” he sounds buoyed.
