A GREEN TEA FACE MASK IS AN EFFECTIVE WAY TO BRIGHTEN YOUR SKIN’S COMPLEXION

If there’s one ingredient that can be called as a blessing for sensitive, combination and acne-prone skin, it has to be green tea. With its anti-ageing and antioxidant properties, green tea can reportedly slowdown skin ageing, help reduce sagging, acne marks, enlarged pores and premature wrinkles.

REDUCE DARK CIRCLES

Due to its antioxidant properties, green tea helps in getting rid of dark circles and puffiness around your eyes. Take two bags of used green tea and refrigerate it for half an hour. Now, place them on your eyelids and relax for 15 minutes. Follow this process twice a day to achieve better results.

FIGHT

Green tea also helps in giving relief from acne as it has antibacterial properties. Take half a cup of fresh green tea powder and mix it well with some water. Now take the mixture and apply it to all the acne-affected areas. Let it rest for 30 minutes. With the help of wet cotton balls, slowly remove the pack and finally rinse off with cold water.

GET A NATURAL GLOW

A green tea face mask is an effective way to brighten your complexion. Take a few Vitamin E capsules, cut them carefully and empty the content in a bowl, add them to a few drops of rose water, glycerine and green tea extract. Bring it to a face pack-like consistency and apply it all over your face. Leave overnight or use it as a daily moisturiser.

SKIN EXFOLIATOR

Green tea is a natural exfoliator and helps remove dead skin cells. Mix brewed green tea with two tablespoons of granulated sugar. Now, use your fingertips to massage your skin in the circular motion using this mixture for at least 3-5 minutes. Depending on your skin type, you can also add honey, lemon or yoghurt.

NATURAL TONER

This popular beverage also works as a great skin toner. Prepare a mug of regular green tea, refrigerate it and use it as a toner.
