All about grandeur and great food
The timelessness of three historical periods, the exuberance of muted décor, and the finest in food and drinks are what define
ERA, the newest restaurant in Connaught Place.
The brainchild of entrepreneurs Dhruv Dutt and Rishabh Dureja, ERA is a class apart. With steel walls contrasting against panelled wood, a rampant veneer of sepia offsetting chesterfield couches, industrial grade hydraulics, the accentuating allure of hardbound leather books, and a breathtaking run of three time zones, the ambience is pulsating with unique vibes that are far from being anachronisms.
“At ERA, we want to give our guests an experience of three different periods in history with our seating plan, interior décor as well as dining experience,” says Dhruv Dutt.
ERA boasts of two levels, a private dining area, a hydraulic DJ stage, a dance floor, and three different themed seating areas — The Renaissance, The Industrial Revolution, and The Victorian Eras.
The interiors of The Renaissance section mimic a ship from a bygone era. The seating is a comfortable mix of both fine dining tables and lounge couches. The Industrial Revolution section features a 10-feet-high, stateof-the-art rotating wheel along with a hydraulic DJ stage, giving a taste of the variety of inventions that ruled the Age of Industrialisation. The Victorian Era space gives a feeling as if one has stepped into the streets of old London, with red brick tiles covering the walls and antique street lamps lighting the way. In accordance with its theme, the lounge has a wide variety of food covering the needs of diverse palates from across the globe. The menu offers Australian, British, Italian, Indian, and Thai cuisines.
“With our global cuisine, an extensive array of drinks, and diverse ambience, we are certain our guests will have a really good time in their favourite period setting,” says Rishabh Dureja.
