Can’t look anywhere else when Big B is there, says Pamela
Working with actor Amitabh Bachchan is a big deal for anybody in showbiz, and for newbie modelturned-actor Pamela Singh Bhutoria, it was “a huge thing”. Having been featured with him in an ad, Pamela says that she’ll always cherish the experience she had while shooting it.
“As a nation, we’re hopelessly in love with Amitabh Bachchan. So, getting to work with him was a huge thing for me. He’s seen hugging me in the ad, and the moment it went on air, my friends and family have been telling me, ‘Let’s hug you, after all Amitabh Bachchan has done the same,’” she laughs.
From the time she reached the sets till the time the shooting ended, she’d observe Big B, shares Pamela. “I was excited and nervous, but at the same time, my whole intention was to observe him closely,” she says.
“I’m going to be carrying this lesson all my life. When he is around, you can’t look anywhere else. He is humorous, charming… I can go on and on… The most beautiful part of this man is that he — even though who he is — while giving suggestions to the director or DOP, would be so humble,” adds Pamela.
The young actor, it seems, can’t get over the fact that Bachchan senior gave her cues during the shoot. “It’s unimaginable how he’s always the best version of himself all the time. He still rehearses his lines and he’ll [say] his lines in different ways… You can’t find any flaws in that man; he’s just mind-blowing,” says Pamela.
