A pawfect time to party, dog lovers!

For a lot of us who are pet parents, the best time of the day is that which is spent with our dogs. It just doesn’t help us bond with our furry friends, but works as de-stress therapy. And pet lovers in the Capital now have a chance to make it even more special, with a unique pupper party.

To be conducted by an organisation known for holding India’s biggest pet carnival — a major draw for pet lovers — the festival has a lot of fun games and activities. “Pupper Party is a small brunch meet and also a run-up to the bigger event that will take place in December. That takes place once a year, so I thought about coming up with something that could be organised more often. More people could come and participate with their pets these small parties,” says Akshay Gupta, organiser.

Over a hundred pet lovers are expected to turn out for the event. The activities include lemon and spoon race, tunnel race, and Pictionary for pets and their owners. And there is a buffet for your four-legged friends, too. “I am excited to take my babu out for this party. This would be the best outing for him and me. I’m glad there will also be food for him,” says Suhana Sharma from the city.

Another Delhi resident, Mohit Sardhana is taking his friends and their pets along for the event. “My dog Bunny loves to play with the dog of a friend of mine, and what could be a better place than this event to take them to together. They’re gonna have lots of fun. I am quite excited and looking forward to be a part of the event,” beams Sardhana.
