Gurugram welcomes a new Chinese eatery

When you think of flavourful, aromatic Chinese delicacies, one cannot help but think about Nelson Wang’s popular restaurant, China Garden.

The first China Garden in India, opened in Mumbai in 1983 and soon saw unpreceden­ted success with Bollywood and the city’s business elite. The restaurant has won numerous awards and accolades.

Today, 35 years later, China Garden still stands tall as India’s most awarded Chinese restaurant while its numerous branches across India continue to be considered as one of the best Chinese restaurant­s in the cities.

Known for their masterwok preparatio­ns and exquisite traditiona­l Dim Sum, foodies will be thrilled to know that this Saturday, finally, China Garden will open in Gurugram at Trilium Avenue, Sector 29.

Designed by award winning architects from Mumbai, the restaurant is spread over 6,000 sqft of space spread across a single floor.

Henry Wang, managing director of China Garden Restaurant­s India, admits that this location has been long overdue and said, “At China Garden, expectatio­ns are always high and therefore we wanted to take our time. I am looking forward to begin the services of both our full signature and Dim Sum menus in what I believe is one of the most beautiful China Gardens yet.”
