Through dance video, Neeti wanted to tell the world that ‘girls are the future’

It is well-known that sisters Mukti, Shakti and Neeti Mohan share an unbreakable bond. And it is interesting to see how the sisters have started collaborating professionally, too. While Shakti and Mukti are popular for their dancing skills, Neeti has made a name for herself as a singer. Having crooned songs such as Ishq Wala Love (Student of the Year, 2012), Sapna Jahan (Brothers, 2015) and more recently, Bad Boy (Saaho), Neeti today, is a name to reckon with. But her interest in dance is no less than that of her sisters.

After the success of Bad Boy, Neeti wanted to do a dance cover of the song. And she roped in sisters Mukti and Shakti for the same. In a video of the same that Neeti shared on her social media accounts, the sisters can be seen grooving to the party number. “I so wanna do this everyday. To be able to perform with my sisters is a blessing. Love you the most @mohanshakti @muktimohan,” she captioned the video.

“After Kanha Re (the first song the trio collaborated for, in 2017) , we had been wanting to work together. Finally, Bad Boy gave me the tingling feeling that this was it,” says Neeti, adding, “It is very empowering and we want to tell the world that if there are girls in the house, they are the future. Who run the world? Girls! So, we want to be the messengers of that. Sisters together are the strongest power ever.”

Alisha Singh, who choreographed the original song featuring Jacqueline Fernandez, choreographed this dance video, too. Alisha has choreographed Neeti’s portion for the cover, while Shakti and Mukti added their portions to it.

It feels amazing to do anything with my sisters. It is very empowering and we want to tell the world that girls are the future. NEETI MOHAN
