The release of one of the much-awaited films, Saand Ki Aankh, is slated for the festive season. While the movie buffs will have to wait some more for the film to hit screens, the trailer, out today, is a portent of things to come.

The trailer gives a peek into the extraordinary journey of the two women, Prakashi Tomar and Chandro Tomar, who picked up guns and became sharpshooting champions at an age when others plan retirement. The characters are portrayed on screen by two powerful actors — Bhumi Pednekar and Taapsee Pannu.

Director Tushar Hiranandani says, “Taapsee and Bhumi have both completely got into the skin of the dadis’ characters and given their 100% to their roles in the film.”

Nidhi Parmar, one of the producers, adds, “We are proud to present a glimpse of their hard work in the trailer as it gives the audience the perfect idea of what the film is going to be about and bring the muchawaited acclaim to the two dadis. I am confident that the film’s high-octane, emotional connect will be loved by the audience.”

Creative producer, Anurag Kashyap says, “I instantly loved the story that Tushar shared with me. The trailer is just a peek into the inspirational story of the Revolver Dadis that deserves to be told to all.”

To this, Shibasish Sarkar, Group CEO, Reliance Entertainment, adds, “Saand Ki Aankh is not just a feature film. It is a story of two women, who have against all odds, made a mark in our history. The trailer of the film is made keeping their journey and sentiments in mind.”

The inspirational journey of India’s oldest sharp shooters, Prakashi Tomar and Chandro Tomar, is presented by Reliance Entertainment and Anurag Kashyap in association with Chalk and Cheese Films.
