On any given day in an Indian metropolis, foodies are spoiled for choice. There’s now Japanese cuisine, French patisserie, Mexican tacos, and more. But all these choices haven’t taken away the crowds inside the scores of Chinese restaurants, with names like China
Garden of the Nelson Wang family, known to have revolutionised and reinvented Chinese food in India.
The brand started its journey with their first China Garden in Mumbai in 1983 which was an immediate success. Frequently visited by the who’s who of Bollywood and top bosses of India’s leading companies, it has won numerous awards and accolades including ‘India’s Best Restaurant’.

This new service, created by Wang in collaboration with their dim sum master chef Ah How Hsuing consists of unlimited portions of crispy aromatic duck followed by 50 varieties of dim sums. Wang adds, “Traditionally, in Cantonese, one will find all variations, like steamed, baked and fried delicacies on offer for brunch or dinner every day and especially on Sundays for the first time in Gurugram, via the Hong Kong-style dim sum trolleys.”
