Get purrfect vibes at this pet fest
Pets are stress-busters and adorable bundles of joy, aren’t they? So, how about spending your weekend with not just your own furry friends, but with thousands others at this pet festival in the Capital? In its sixth edition, Pet Fed wants you to celebrate the New Year’s with your pets. The two-day event will have fun events, contests, and food.
“This is the New Year’s special edition and we have decorated the three-acre premises with Christmas and New Year’s theme. Every year we celebrate the eve with our families and friends, but this time, ring it in with your lovely pets,” says Akshay Gupta, founder of the festival.
For the first time, dogs from the crime branch of Delhi Police will present a dog show at the event. Also planned is a cat show for feline lovers.
“12 police dogs will stage their skills in the show with 22 police officers. We have also prepared a 100-sqft zone for the cat show. Every year, dogs are our main focus, but this year, we are giving more attention to cats,” shares Gupta.
There will be free tickets for the owners of desi dogs to encourage more people to adopt indie pets. Like every year, there will also be adoption camps.
Actor Dino Morea, who will walk the ramp at the fashion show, says, “With the boundless love, loyalty, and happiness we receive from animals, it’s only fair for every pet parent to take time out and dedicate a few hours to their pet.”
