Irrfan shares a voice message on his film’s trailer release
For most daughters, their father is their superhero. Directed by Homi Adajania, the upcoming film Angrezi Medium captures the heartwarming relationship between a single father essayed by Irrfan and his daughter, played by Radhika Madan. And, with its trailer releasing today, Father’s Day seems to have come early this year.
Irrfan opened his heart to his fans with a voice message on the eve of the trailer launch of the sequel to Hindi Medium (2017). Sharing the news that he won’t be able to promote the film owing to his illness, the actor said how Angrezi Medium has been an extra special journey for him. In the trailer, Irrfan is seen saying, “Inside I’m very emotional… outside I’m very happy… bas itni hi Angrezi aave hai humein.”
Speaking about Irrfan and the film, Adajania says, “I love Irrfan more than I know how to say. Considering everything, I’m not really sure how we managed to make this film, but I do know that we chose to laugh through most of it. It’s shown me a lighter way of being, and I’ll always cherish this.” The film’s team sends out a message for Irrfan, saying that he will be missed during the campaign but in his words, we will wait for him.
