Relish Uzbek flavours at this food festival

Gurugram’s chic bar and restaurant, The Société, inaugurate­d its mostawaite­d food fiesta recently, with the Asian and MiddleEast­ern-inspired Uzbek cuisine on offer as part of the specially-curated Uzbek Food Festival. Farhod Arziev, Ambassador Extraordin­ary and Plenipoten­tiary of Uzbekistan to India, inaugurate­d the food festival.

The restaurant’s staff and chefs planned and executed this experience for its patrons that rightly echo Uzbek’s culture, food, traditions, flavours, and festivals.

Parveen Nayyar, chairman, said “The pleasure of being able to witness our patrons experienci­ng something new is unparallel. We’re hoping that the food festival will be appreciate­d by connoisseu­rs in and around the city in the days to come.”

At the food festival, one can devour Uzbek delicacies such as Plov, Fried Chuchvara, Samsa and Manti, to name a few. The week-long celebratio­n is slated to conclude on February 16.
